Physical and mechanical tests for melamine boards typically include water‑absorption & thickness swelling (≤ 8%), static bending strength, internal bonding strength, surface scratch and wear resistance, coating adhesion, flatness and warpage tolerance, density, moisture content, etc. Example acceptance criteria: bending strength ≥ 20 MPa, internal bond ≥ 0.45–0.55 MPa depending on thickness, wear loss ≤ 80 mg/100 r, pattern retention ≥ 50% after abrasion.
